Great line-art, nice perspective, solid designs. Very great stuff!

Rin-Ta responds:

Thank you !

You never really see the process of stuff like making a comic shared like this; pretty informative and very inspiring! Your Funny Burger series is really fun and well done, so good luck with finishing this one.

TopNugg responds:

Right? There are two things about this- one, that I love to talk shop all day, and two, that putting it into perspective like this does a good job providing a sense of scale. I'm a complete lunatic lmao

This is wicked dope! Very expressive, and the detailed ink-work is a very nice contrast to the lighter colors. This oozes 80's Toriyama; could definitely see this on the cover of a manga/magazine, or a t-shirt. Keep it up!

sqooqs responds:

Thank you! :)

Pretty damn impressive for 4 days! Love the little bits of detail on the characters and backgrounds; gives the whole thing a very gritty and dirty air to the comic that's very reminiscent of the games.

ToppleNG responds:

Thank you!

Very impressive, really like the line weight on your line art. Pretty well done!

KevinTrentin responds:

Thanks!

Very nice stylized character iterations. Backgrounds a bit barren, and I really feel you could've pushed the contrast between the shadows and base color hues to add a very dramatic lighting to match the very warm colors/tone, but what do I know? Very nice work!

NuggNugget responds:

Thank you! I'll actually take that in mind, I'm still learning how to create more vivid backgrounds and I totally agree on your standpoint. Well, more practicing to be done!

Love the small details on the characters it really makes them standout a bit more and feel more like your own. Solid line-art and shadow rendering; Nice work!

EthanDoesaThing responds:

Thank you!!

Great tribute and some great hatch work. Dope stuff!

gamaseven responds:

Thank you so much, I'm really glad you like it and that you appreciated the hatching! I usually go way beyond this, way too much I must say but this time I wanted to restrain myself and go a bit more toward the blacks and hatching used in the anime. I wasn't able to fully replicate it but I'm glad that I, at least, got a bit of the mood of that amazing series of OVAs. Thank you for reviewing and rating my work!

Really love the way you color your pieces. Looks like a "what if" Ken Sugimori did the character art for Street Fighter. Very cool stuff!

TotallyNotNathan responds:

Thanks, much appreciated!

Nailed it! Very, very cool, and the amount of time spent shows. Really like the white background variant, the contrast is a lot nicer to me than the red; definitely reminds me of Daisuke's early work.

Digitab responds:

Imma be honest, I like the white one too. Thanks for taking the time to appreciate the detail I put in! I actually studied his older work a lot for this one!

A guy who thinks he can draw, but is still learning. Loves video games, comics, anime, martial arts, and taking huge naps.
